Gunilla Grosse - von Kempski, born in Bonn, studied law
at the Ruprecht-Karls-University in Heidelberg and at the
Università degli Studi di Bologna, Italy. Subsequently,
she operated as International Brand Manager at the European
Patent Office in The Hague, Netherlands.
During her legal clerkship in Lübeck, Schleswig-Holstein,
Gunilla Grosse - von Kempski focused on economic law, and also stationed
in Munich at the German Patent and Trademark Office.
Following her second legal state examination
in 2005 she worked as a freelance lawyer for a medium-sized
company in the field of wind energy in Lübeck, where
she focused on the field of intellectual property rights including
copyright and competition law. Since 2006 she is working for
Grosse, Bockhorni & Schumacher which continues its tradition
as GROSSE SCHUMACHER KNAUER von HIRSCHHAUSEN.
Gunilla Grosse - von Kempskis main field of interest
are German, European and International trademark and design
law, trademark and design infringement proceedings, forming
of contracts, copyright and competition law as well as product
and trademark counterfeiting.
She is authorized as professional representative
before all German District and Appellate Courts, the German
Patent and Trademark Office, the European Patent Office, the
German Federal Patent Court as well as the Office for Harmonization
in the Internal Market in Alicante (Community Trademarks and

Munich Bar Association, the German Bar Association as well
as the German Association for Intellectual Property Rights
